Ticketron and Ticketmaster are two different companies with no association. Ticketmaster is a primary source for tickets as well as a source that practices selling secondary market tickets. What separates Ticketron from Ticketmaster are the prices and practices. Ticketmaster in our view is trying to control both ends of the ticketing business and has been reprimanded by the Federal Government for its practices of possibly withholding tickets to fans at face value while reselling tickets on its Verifed by Ticketmaster site as secondary market tickets at astronomical pricing and tremendous additional fees.Ticketron is soley a secondary market site and is a member of the largest secondary market marketplace. We sell tickets that have been secured by local licensed distributors and set pricing based on the pricing set by distributors. On top of that Ticketron does not charge upwards of 30% to 40% in additional fees as Ticketmaster Vivid Seats and other sites tend to do. We keep our service charges at an industry low 8% to 10% of the cost of each ticket. Many of the same tickets found on the Ticketmaster resale site can be found at Ticketron as well, minus the huge service fees. So please do not be fooled. Ticketmaster and Ticketron are 2 entirely different business entities.
